Outpatient Therapy

Weekly and Bi-weekly options to fit your schedule.

"Why can't I stop thinking about this?"

"I just want to worry about 'normal' things."

"Why can't I just enjoy my life?"

Sound familiar? These are all common refrains we hear from new clients. Some have known they are battling OCD for a long time, others have been misdiagnosed or are just now realizing that they are struggling with something that has a name.

Whether you constantly obsess about germs, spend a large part of your day attempting to answer an unanswerable question, or anything in-between, OCD can completely derail your life.

The good news? It doesn't have to.

And you don't have to figure it out alone.

Together, we can come up with a plan that is tailored to fit you and your goals.

We are comfortable working with all types and sub-types of OCD & Anxiety in outpatient treatment. (See our comprehensive list here)

Clients are welcome to attend therapy sessions at the Rockville office or in the comfort of their own homes via tele-therapy. Due to the nature of exposure therapy, we may decide that some sessions are best conducted in public. Additionally, we are happy to discuss accommodations that might make therapy more accessible. (For example, some clients with sensory sensitivities may wish to conduct tele-health sessions without video or sound.)

The first appointment is a chance for you to get to know me and vice versa. We will discuss a number of things including your background, reasons for seeking treatment, and goals. This session usually takes about an hour and a half. However, if that seems too long, you can choose to split the first session into two sessions. Following appointments last 45-50 minutes.
