For me, therapy is about being flexible, welcoming creativity, and honoring the lived experience of the youth, adults, and families I work with. My practice is rooted in flexibility and evidence-based treatment. As such, I rely on the most up-to-date theory and research to ensure that I am individually tailoring therapy to the needs of each person I work with. That is why open communication and working collaboratively is so important to me, as this allows each person to feel empowered and capable as an active agent in their own treatment journey.

Being a creative problem-solver helps me work with clients when managing the unique problems that anxiety and OCD can sometimes create. Moreover, having a creative approach fosters flexible thinking and welcomes lightheartedness and fun in the therapy process!

My perspective towards therapy has allowed me to enjoy the last several years of working with those experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders (including tics and skin-picking), and children with behavioral concerns (such as non-compliance, impulsivity, and aggression). I’ve also worked extensively with youth and adults who are neurodivergent and/or have a chronic medical condition. Meeting clients where they are at helps build a strong therapeutic relationship while also exploring new horizons!

Out of the office, you can find me trying to level up in my drawing skills, exploring different neighborhoods and parks in the DMV area, cuddling my cats, or watching a new TV show (I enjoy everything from reality TV to thrillers!). Those who know me best say I am curious, patient, compassionate, easy to talk to, and willing to go the extra mile for those I’m supporting!
